Are you interested in Linux containers? Linux containers have long been difficult to manage at large scale- scheduling deployment and ensuring high availability are no simple tasks. There are a few container management frameworks that exist to make Docker or Rkt containers viable as a stable solution- however there are concepts that can be hard to grasp at first.

Kubernetes is one such framework- created by Google, it leverages multiple other open source projects to bring the best in container deployment and management mechanisms. We will discuss a few key Kubernetes concepts, create a brand spanking new Kubernetes cluster, create a new container and deploy that container multiple times- in a matter of minutes.

Whether you are interested in containers at scale for personal use- or are looking for a means to reliably integrate containers into your workflow professionally- this meetup is key.
