Docker Orchestration and Metrics Collection
by Tiffany Jernigan

With Docker 1.12 SwarmKit was released, and with that, new CLI commands in Docker. In this talk you will learn how to deploy applications within a Docker Swarm and create services. You will also see how to get container metrics, store them in a database, and see a graph visualization of the data.

Tiffany is a developer advocate coding in Go and evangelizing in the container space. She previously consulted for Docker, was at Intel Corporation as a cloud software engineer in the Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI) group, and is a graduate from the Georgia Institute of Technology. After pursuing a career in electrical engineering, she decided to transition to software engineering. When Tiffany is not writing software or evangelizing, she is learning French, reading mystery novels, in the gym practicing gymnastics, or spending time with family and friends.
