Vancouver Docker Meetup - Creating a Docker Swarm on AWS using Terraform

Hello Docker Vancouver. Our local Docker community keeps on growing with over 900 members.

Do you have a project that needs something more than just a single machine to run docker? Interested in getting started with deploying containers to a scheduler? Docker Swarm (https://www.docker.com/products/docker-swarm) is a place to get started. On February 15th 5:30pm at Hootsuite (5 E 8th Vancouver) come and learn how to create a Docker Swarm cluster in AWS using Hashicorp’s Terraform (https://www.terraform.io/).

Also, Docker has released 1.13 with a bunch of new features. I’ll go over a few of them at the meetup. If anyone is using them, let me know if you want to say a bit about your experiences.

Finally, Docker’s 4th birthday is coming the week of March 13th - 18th. I’m hoping that there will be more great training from Docker on how to get started with containers and how to get the most out of them. I’ll also be looking for mentors to help out. Mark this on your calendar.
