WHY SHOULD YOU COME ALONG...

This is an opportunity to collaborate with likeminded documentary storytellers on subjects related to climate change. We will use our collective knowledge, skills and experience to produce what will hopefully be the first of many short-form films. Once completed, the work will be featured on the Documenting Climate Change website (a work in progress), and beyond - connecting with as wide an audience as possible.

WHO SHOULD COME ALONG...

Whether you're a seasoned documentary filmmaker, or someone who just wants to help produce engaging content, everyone has something to offer and role to play in successfully producing a short-form film.

WHAT WE'll DO...

We'll brainstorm how to explore a particular issue and it's impact on climate change, and then work on creating an initial outline and framework for it.

By the end of the meeting each attendee will have actions assigned to them in order to start the production process - organising location access, organising interviews, story development, etc.

The pre-production process will be managed after the meeting through a dedicated channel on the Documenting Climate Change Slack workspace, which attendees will be invited to.

NOTE - no filming will take place during the event. This event is about initiating the pre-production process for the film's production.
