    What we're about

The Doha English Conversation Club - English for Life - is an ESL Meetup group where people can get together and practice speaking English. Not everyone has the opportunity in Doha to use the English language at work and/or in their day-to-day life. ‘English for Life’ will give you a chance to improve your English through conversation. This is very important when you're learning and studying English so that you don’t 'lose' the language. This ESL group is a great place to chat with others in a friendly environment. You will meet new people, locals and foreigners, learn a lot of new things and make lots of new friends.

Each meetup event will deal with practical subjects that directly relates to daily living, employability skills and education. Membership is open to both men and women.

These meetups also attract participants who wish to learn English for personal enjoyment and get a chance to interact with people from various ethnic groups and cultures. All ‘English for Life’ meetups will have TESOL / CELTA certified teachers in attendance.

All meetings are free of charge for Native speakers of English! :)
