Hacknight - Google Maps and CTA Buses

Details

Let’s plot CTA bus routes with Google Maps! We will build the following app:

https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/b/5/3/600_465035667.jpeg

Like previous meetups, we will be following a guide (https://canjs.com/doc/guides/recipes/cta-bus-map.html) that walks through every step of building this application. For each step, I'll go over what you need to know to complete the step. Then everyone will have a few minutes to try to complete the step. Finally, I'll explain the solution.

Every step has an answer key, so even if you are new to programming, you can just cut & paste the solutions.

Please bring a computer. But if you forget, there will be people you can pair with.

The following is the guide we will be using:

======

Doors open at 5:30. I will kickoff presentation at 6:15. Bring a computer if you'd like to follow along.

Jimmy John's sandwiches will be provided to everyone by Bitovi.
