Details

Directions: 3535 Hayden Ave, Los Angeles, CA

Some “Breather” marked parking spots are available, as well as street parking. Enter the building from the main glass door, located in the middle of the parking lot. Make a right in the lobby area and suite 160 will be on your right.

Description:

Join us for an evening of coding at our first hack night! For this meetup, we’ll learn about fixtures, recursion, and CanJS (https://canjs.com/) by building this file navigator widget (JS Bin (https://jsbin.com/faraval/1/edit?output)):

The widget allows users to click folders which expand to load their files and sub-folders. Clicking on the sub-folders then loads more folders and sub-folders… you get the idea!

There are two tracks for this hack night, so regardless of whether you’re just starting out with JavaScript or you’ve been writing it for years, there’s a track for you!

Doors open at 6:30 and we’ll start hacking at 7pm. Food will be provided by Bitovi (https://www.bitovi.com/). Hope to see you there!
