Downtown Miami meetups

Hi everybody, My name is David. I recently moved to Miami from Denver. I've actually been living and traveling abroad the past 4/5 years, various spots in Spain and London. I've used meetups in the past to get to know people. I've met some good people thus far in Miami through meetup, but I noticed there are no real meetups specifically in Downtown Miami (between AA Arena and the river), although I've met some people in this area via the bars, and with all the high rises I'm sure I'm not the only newbie. So this group is to see if there's any interest for people to get together once in awhile in the Downtown area, without having to go to Brickell, Wynwood, Midtown, or Sobe all the time.
