Hello Downtown NYC Tech Friends!

We had so much fun with you all at last month’s soiree that we had to do it again ;)

Join us for an evening of discussing all things Edge. We’ll kick off the evening looking at distributed management on edge devices with HarperDB and then move on to a demonstration of everything K3’s with Rancher Labs.

As always, we’ll supply the pizza, cookies, and beer – you just have to show up. See you soon!

HarperDB
Stephen Goldberg, CEO of HarperDB, will discuss the need for distributed data management and real-time decision making directly on edge devices in operational technology and Industrial IoT environments. We will look at best practices for edge computing data management architectures and real-world use cases where moving to the edge is mission critical.

Rancher Labs
Mark Abrams, Field Engineer at Rancher Labs, will conduct a live demo showcasing a tiny slice of what people can do with K3s. An introduction of K3s and how it works will start us off and be followed with a demonstration of the software by installing it on a small device. With the basic cluster up and running, we will end by taking a look at how to scale both services and the cluster itself.

** Attendees, please note that you will need to RSVP yourself and any guests ahead of time for this event so we may provide an attendance list to security. You will also need to show photo ID.**
