The Doylestown Food Market is a cooperative member-owned grocery store in the heart of Doylestown, where ANYONE CAN SHOP. Benefits of member/ownership include in-store discounts, discounts with our over 75 eco-system partners - local businesses that offer discounts to our members-owners. Member-owners also have a voice in our community, and how we develop, expand, and grow.

Doylestown Community Educational Programs is the educational arm of the Doylestown Food Market. We offer a variety of educational opportunities to our community, many of which are free to attend. Some events, such as our film series and support groups, have an admission fee, with a discount for Doylestown Food Market members.

Here is a sampling of our events:

Fun First Friday: Purely fun and social. Come into the store on the first Friday of each month, enjoy a glass of wine and sample some of the delicious products the co-op offers. First Friday is the kick-off to a month of showcasing products by our Producer of the Month. No charge.

Food For Thought Book Club: The book club meets the second Tuesday of each month (except December) at the Doylestown Bookshop from 6:30 – 8 PM to discuss sustainable agriculture, healthy living, local farming and producers, and the environment. Come join the fun, share your passion for eating well and eating LOCAL. Open to all. No charge. And you are welcome to attend for the discussion even if you haven’t read the book.

Our hugely successful Farm Fresh Film Series provides a REALLY enjoyable way to watch documentaries about some of the most critical topics in sustainable agriculture, food production, health and community. These programs include informative, enlightening and enjoyable panel discussions expanding upon topics covered in the documentaries.

We offer a series of one evening health and wellness presentations with discussion, on a variety of topics, presented by local health educators, nutritionists, therapists, producers, and chefs.

Support Groups are offered quarterly on a variety of topics such as Managing Stress with Healthy Foods, Teens, Health and Food, Eating Healthy on a Budget.
