How do we personalize both emerging scientific concepts and age-old wisdom to succeed at living a more enriched life? By understanding how your brain works, you can learn how to unlearn negative habits and emotions, eliminate self-destructive behaviors, rewire your brain with new thoughts and beliefs, heal your body and create new results in your life.

Join in a Dr. Joe Dispenza book discussion and meditation group for "Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself", starting February 26th. We will be meeting each Sunday at 6 pm in a ZOOM link, for each of the 14 chapters of Dr. Joe's first teaching book named above, (13 sessions). We will discuss each chapter for 1 1/2 hours, break and then do the meditation for 45 mins, followed by a general discussion. The ZOOM app link will be emailed to every one who RSVP, each week, the meet.

Learn how neuroplasticity and epigenetics are the key to changing your destiny; how understanding different brain wave patterns can demystify meditation; how to create a new personality and new personal reality; the common thread underlying spontaneous remissions, and much more!

Joining this MeetUp book group requires your email for notifications and reminders. Then select RSVP this week and for each week you are planning to be a part of the attending group. I email out the ZOOM link to every one on the MeetUp RSVP list.

This week, we will discuss the Three Brains: Thinking to Doing to Being. "When you focus your attention to the exclusion of your environment, your body, and time, you can easily move from thinking to being with having to DO anything."

"Keep in mind that it's not enough merely to notice how you've been thinking feeling and behaving. Meditation requires you to be more active that that. You also have to tell the truth about yourself. You have to come clean and reveal what you've been hiding in that shadow part of the gap." p168.

This eight, 8th, week, "Meditation, Demystifying the Mystical, and Waves of Your Future." "One of the keys to Breaking the Habit of being Yourself is working toward being more observant-whether that entails being more metacognitive, embracing stillness, or focusing more attention on your behaviors and how elements in your environment might trigger emotional response. So the big question here is: How do you do all this?
In other words, HOW do you become more observant; break your emotional bonds with the body, the environment, and time; and close the GAP?" p175.
