What we're about

The dragonfly is a symbol of transformation, freedom, beauty and unbounded joy, The purpose of this group is to bring "Dragonfly Women" together, age 40 and older mostly from the Hemet/San Jacinto area, who are interested in fun and friendship, and making lasting connections, but may not have a lot of money. Younger women are welcome, as long as they are over 21 since we serve alcohol at some functions. Women from out of the area are also welcome.

Any Dragonflies up for a group hike? A budget wine tasting? A picnic at a local park? Champagne brunch at one another's home? Walking together in the mornings? A free or inexpensive local music event? A day trip to Idyllwild or old town Temecula? A mid-day movie? OUR ONLY RULES: NO RELIGION, NO POLITICS, NO MEANNESS OR JUDGING OTHERS. I'm a writer, married to a wonderful guy, and I enjoy a full life but I'm new to Hemet. I miss the companionship and connection with my close gal pals who live far away. I would love to get together with "the local girls" once a month or so in hopes of finding a few wonderful, positive, fun women friends in Hemet to play with, to share stories with, to simply enjoy one another's company in hopes of forming heart-felt life-long bonds...the kind that only Dragonfly Women of a certain age can create.

For women who love to stay fit while they socialize, check out our walking groups, too!

If your would like to participate in this event, please go to the following website: https://funzoneboats.com/newport-beach-daily-sunset-cruises.html to purchase your ticket. We will be carpooling to this event, leaving Hemet at 4 pm. We will meet at my house (580 Bellflower Way in Hemet) then drive to Lake Elsinore to pick up Mia (pick up site is McDonald's on Mission Trail). Mia has a van and can accommodate lots of travelers! PLEASE NOTE: the cruise leaves at 7 pm (not 6 pm as noted in the photo above). You can drive with us, or meet us at the harbor! Don't miss this event! It is an absolute joy! Take some time to view the photo albums we've collected over the years related to this event! They are on the Dragonfly Sisters website!
