Message from the Dream World:

A movie I just watched inspired in me a neat idea about dreams. When I go to sleep at night, I feel I am saying goodbye to this regular conscious reality and falling asleep to move into another reality. I decided that on the way to sleep, I would ask my other reality self to help me to wake up in the morning to a higher quality world.

That's it, just a simple request, a pure wish, a little prayer if you will... that I wake up to a higher quality life for myself and the world. Now nobody really knows what happens on the large scale while you are asleep and dreaming, but it's nice to think that there are heavenly meetings where all spirits have a democratic voice. If that happens on any kind of level, I want to enter my sleep life with a vote for a more harmonious and wonderful universe to wake up to. On a conscious level, just my creative visualization for the next morning would be enough of a positive for me. Maybe my focus to create this is all I get out of it, maybe something special happens, or maybe some of both. I do believe that on some level the Higher Self/Creation Process of the Universe will actually take note of my intention. Why not give this a try?

Keep the faith in the power of dreams! - Jeff

Reminder that we have a discussion meetup on October 20th at 7 in our nice multimedia board room location at The Planning Source, donated by our esteemed member and Assistant Organizer Scott Smith.

Try to watch "Waking Life" with Keanu Reeves for our movie discussion. (Always OK to participate even if you didn't watch it.)

Bring your Dream Journal in case you want to share a special dream with the group and any books to show us that you recommend.

At our meetups, we continue to have interesting discussions about dreams and life and higher consciousness that make it always a valuable experience for our members. So come forth, step off the ground, and take a little "vacation from ordinary consciousness" to nurture your higher self at our Lucid Dream Group meetup this October 20th.
