** From Monolith to Services - lessons learned and the pits we've fallen into ** by Brian de Heus, CTO at Adgorithmics

Brian will talk about the challenges he and his team faced when they decided to break apart their monolith into separate services using Docker, Kubernetes and NATS.

Jiwei graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Masters in Electrical Engineering. He currently works as Senior Software Engineer at TeamSpirit Singapore, with an expertise in backend development for Salesforce applications. With more than 5 years experience across embedded system and web/ mobile application developments that spans across diverse industries including Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), E-commerce and Blockchain, Jiwei is competent in various languages including java, python, javascript, golang and PhP. With an in-depth knowledge in software design, integration, testing and deployment, Jiwei is always curious and excited to solve difficult engineering problems (not only software).

Ace, Assistant Manager of Engineering at TeamSpirit Singapore
Ace graduated from Nanyang Technology University with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Computer Engineering and currently working as an Assistant Manager of Engineering and Development Lead at TeamSpirit Singapore. As an Assistant Manager of Engineering, Ace is mostly responsible for planning and shaping growth initiatives for the development team. He is passionate about helping businesses digitally transform with the right strategy, support and technology to unlock new ways of working, new business models and new revenue streams. Ace has more than 5 years of experience in SaaS and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions in the area of e-commerce, supply chain management, and Expense Reporting Management for enterprises.
