The smart device contains sensors that recognize Pill count and position, and sends persistent and customizable reminders to her phone app via Bluetooth. The phone app automatically logs the time of intake and boasts of several features, including time zone adjustments, proactive educational tips, symptom tracking, and actionable insights customized to her Pill-taking habits. Quell, a NeuroMetrix product ----
NeuroMetrix is a commercial stage, bioelectrical and digital medicine company driving innovation to address chronic health conditions including chronic pain and diabetes. Building on its roots in diagnostics technology, NeuroMetrix applied the same science to develop its lead product, Quell®, an over-the-counter wearable therapeutic device for chronic pain. Quell is integrated into a digital health platform that helps patients optimize their therapy and decrease the impact of chronic pain on their quality of life.
Lumme Labs -----
Lumme is developing a behavior change platform by combining machine learning, wearable devices, and behavioral psychology. Our 1st product is a smoking cessation platform that has demonstrated the highest reported quit rates of any commercially available product or service. This work is an outcome of research conducted at UMass Amherst, co-developed with the Yale Tobacco Treatment Clinic, and funded by a $1.5M SBIR grant from the National Cancer Institute.
