BACK TO THE ISLAND-THE TREASURE ISLAND MEETUP FOR MARCH 2020

Let's leave town and cross PART of he bridge...
Tired of the same old venue? Then lets head out to Treasure Island and meet up to fly together! Hoping for clear weather, this island will afford us some real glamour shots of both bridges and the SF skyline. Pack light and be ready to be on the move. Expect cool weather and dress in layers. This will be a photo flight event, so leave your race drone at home, come out and fly responsibly. You should insure yourself for this event. Whether you use Verifly app or are an AMA member, please be safe, fly responsibly, and be insured.

. Where We'll Meet: We will start at the Intersection of M and N streets, this is a right turn just after you enter the island. There is a large concrete parking lot and that is our fly base for the day.

Drones, controllers, batteries, warm jacket, lunch?

• Important to know
Spoke with Werner at SF drones school. He says that the only restrictions are the job corp government buildings, the playing fields, and over people, and that the housing on the back side of the island will elicit phone calls as people feel they are being spied on. Can't go in or near buildings as there is asbestos. He recommends the areas of clipper cove way, avenue N, and avenue of the palms. This is a right turn once you enter the island area.
