Free Community Drum Circle in Sun City, AZ. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary all instruments provided. African Djembe and Native American style Drumming. Hosted by Drum Arizona, Inc. a non-profit organization that provides drum circle experiences to Arizona communities and makes and gives away handmade hand painted drums to children who are homeless, hospitalized or in foster care. To date we have given away over 500 drums to children. .

With over 200 Drums and 120 Percussive instruments. We meet at Lakeview United Methodist Church located at 10298 W Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351 in the Smoot Hall every Tuesday from 12:30-1:45 and every Saturday from 4:00-5:30pm.

Now in our new Sankofa Medicine Wheel Art Studio we are offering Create-shops for making African and Native American musical instruments such as Native American style hoop drums, African gourd drums, African Rain Sticks, Native American turtle rattles, African gourd rattles, African Shakeres, Native American Rawhide rattles. Come experience the joy of creating your own instrument for hours of enjoyment and to show off to family and friends!

No experience is necessary, everyone is welcome and all instruments are provided (African Djembe drums and Native American style drums and percussive instruments). The first 20 minutes we do Native American drumming, bring your own or use one of ours. Then the second half of the circle is devoted to African Djembe drumming. Bring your own or use one of ours.

Come meet some amazing people who enjoy drumming! Our motto is "Leave it on the Drum" you will experience the joy and stress relief of drumming in community. Dr. Woods leads you every step of the way. Suggested donation is $3 use to give back to the Church for allowing us the use of the room. Plenty of parking in the back of the Church.

Come make your own Native American style hand drum and beater with a "Master" drum maker. Dr. Lydia (Yielded to the Spirit) Woods provides everything you need to make your own Deer or Elk hide 15" drum. This is an adult size drum and has a rich tone that is ready to play after Birthing in 24 hours.

The cost is just $175 for drum with beater included. We birth the drums at Sankofa Medicine Wheel Art Studio located in Peoria off 99th Ave. Payment is through Cash App. Call for more info and directions
