All of our Drupal Brisbane Meetups are open to all and have no attendance charge. We aim to set a welcoming tone.

We're now using a revised format for our Drupal Brisbane Meetups:-
(1) With regular requests from some users for beginner training or ad hoc problem-solving we've set an optional time-slot for this Drupal mentoring before the main meetup starts;
(2) We aim to schedule three main presentations during the main meetup in order to achieve more both more diversity in our content; and
(3) We try to make sure that at least one of the three presentations is at a fairly technical level to ensure that our meetup stays relevant for advanced Drupalers.

NB: Having three presentations means we're always on the look out for topic presenters, and also that we need to run a tighter ship with our schedule. Let us know what you think.

5.30pm: Drupal Mentoring [optional]

From 5.30pm to 6.30pm regular members of our meetup are available for mentoring via either (1) Drupal beginner training; and (2) Drupal problem-solving.

To help us be set up for the right number of people wanting either of these, please "book" into either of these via your response to the relevant questions on the RSVP form.

6.30pm: Beer and Pizza [optional]

We try to recover the minimal costs of these - so bring a little cash to throw into the 'honesty-box'.

7:00pm - Drupal Presentation I: YAML Forms for Drupal 8 by Morgan Strong

7.30pm - Around-the-Room Intro's

This is second item on the Agenda so that late-comers don't miss out! This section is one of the most valuable parts of our meetup in terms both of building the Drupal community, and for networking to learn who is working on and has skills or experience in what things.

Three elements: (1) Name; (2) Drupal role & context in ten words or less; & (3) something interesting in Drupal or other webtech that you've been working on lately.

7:45pm - Drupal Presentation II: to-be-advised

8:15pm Community Feedback or Lightning Talks

We don't want to use up much Meetup time on this but, depending on what activities are being planned for Qld Drupal networking, promotion and training we may have some elements needing broader yet concise consultation & feedback. When not need this time will be supplanted by any lightning talks participants might be able to offer. No pressure!

8:30pm - Drupal Presentation III: to-be-advised

9.00pm - Finish & Networking Time: All welcome to stick around to continue the conversation over another beer. link (
