We'll talk about Drupal and everything around it. This meetup is hosted by the Official Drupal Hyderabad Community.

For the month of October we have a session on Drupal 8 Basic Module Development

Prerequisites:

Basic Knowledge of PHP, and experience with Drupal site building and site management.

Learning Objectives:

Understanding Drupal Module Folder Structure Difference between Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 Modules Know how to develop simple to complex modules Developing basic Drupal 8 Module Be able to responsibly modify contributed modules using patches Understand best practices, security techniques, conventions and coding standards
What to bring:

Laptop computer(not mandatory) - LAMP/XAMPP Server and Drupal 8 Installed Notepad and pen Drupal enthusiasm! (mandatory :P) Snacks and Coffee/tea will be provided.

Additional Information: The session will be held between 2 to 5 PM. If possible, try and arrive between 1:30 Pm and 1:45 Pm, so that we can get any technical issues solved and start the session promptly.
