R Project Discussion Night -- listen and/or bring your own

We intend to discuss our current projects or ideas we have for projects, and potential ways to collaborate.

For example, a textbook in one of my courses uses Excel for financial modeling. The good thing about Excel is that you can see every formula in its own cell. The bad thing about Excel is that to know if it works properly, you need to see every formula in its own cell. I would like to re-implement the logic in the spreadsheets to show how much cleaner R is.

The room will be inside Goodwin Hall, the rectangular building next to the multi-story parking garage.
