Diversity Dinners DuPage invites joiners now! New Diversity Dinners groups are being formed in Naperville and the widely surrounding area. Please consider joining us – as an individual or a pair! First, inquire further to learn about what is involved via 630/[masked] and this United Nations affiliated organization: www.USServas.org (http://www.usservas.org/) – on top left under Projects, pull down to Diversity Dinners. Then enroll with Diversity Dinners Director Stephanie Hughes via 630/[masked]. If you enjoy interesting people, delicious food, stimulating conversation, then you'd probably enjoy Diversity Dinners. Your group of ten people will gather for a cooperative meal on about seven weekend nights spaced over a year, taking turns hosting at home. Couples and individual adults of all ages, stages and walks of life, heritages and affinities are invited! We discuss our own backgrounds and experiences relative to the personal -- local – national- global issues that any of us bring up because we are curious, excited and / or concerned about them. At one Diversity Dinner we plan the next, finding a date convenient for our group. It's easy, relaxed, educational, economical, comfortable, congenial! To learn more, contact Stephanie at [masked] providing your phone number or call 630/[masked]. New groups are forming. Please consider joining!

What we're about

The purpose of the DuPage Peace Through Justice Coalition is multifaceted: to promote nonviolent solutions to terrorism, to call on members of Congress to protect civil liberties, and to provide a public forum to present alternatives to war and education on cross cultural issues. The Coalition is made up of people from diverse ethnic, racial, religious and cultural backgrounds united in their belief that war is not the answer to terrorism. DuPage County is standing up for peace! Many people in our county are working to stop the current drive for war and promote peaceful resolutions of international differences. Shortly after September 11, 2001, the DuPage Peace Through Justice Coalition was formed for this purpose. We invite you to join us and strengthen the voices for peace. We also welcome non-members to join us at any of our meetings and activities.
