Eat & Drink Local Dinner - Featuring Wines from 'Our Region' - AED 395

Our friends at BOCA have been recognized for their efforts in sourcing locally and collaborating with fishermen and farmers in the UAE in The Truth, Love & Clean Cutlery guidebooks. To celebrate they are hosting a party created with local and regional ingredients and flavours, including the WINE! A four-course menu will be presented and we, The Tasting Class, will be there introducing wines from Lebanon, Georgia, Greece and Turkey. The food is from close to home too and includes salmon from the FishFarm fisheries in Jebal Ali, wild king mackerel from the Arabian Gulf, local ricotta cheese, raised free-range lamb and camel ice-cream. AED 395 per person RSVPs are essential. While you can RSVP on here, we'd appreciate it if you would email us with your RSVP so we can get numbers as accurate as possible. [masked] Please let us know if you would like to have your own table for your party, or be on our group, social dining Meetup table. ----------------------------- MENUS LOCAL HERB INFUSED WATER OUZO PLOMARI COCKTAIL CURED EMIRATI SALMON Yuzu, Lime & Yogurt, Calamansi Puree, Kohlrabi (D) Château Kefraya Les Bretèches 2017, Cinsault Rosé, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon SLOW COOKED WILD ARABIAN GULF KING MACKEREL Red Radish, Za'atar Mayo, Baharat Oil, Sourdough Crouton Tamada Tsinandali 2013, Rkatsiteli – Mtsvane White, Kakheti, Georgia FREE RANGE LAMB 2 WAYS Braised Lamb Shoulder, Crispy Lamb Chop, Bulgur, Physalis (N)(D) Gai’a S 2016, Agiorgitiko – Syrah Red, Nemea, Greece LOCAL CAMEL CHOCOLATE-MILK BAR Dark Chocolate, Dates, Caramel, Local Camel Milk Ice Cream (D)(N) Kavaklidere Ancyra 2014, Cabernet Sauvignon – Syrah Red, Ankara, Turkey Enjoy a glass of Domaine de Bargylus Rouge Grand Vin 2012 from Syria for a special price of 70AED using the state of the art Coravin system (A) Alcohol (D) Dairy (G) Gluten Free (N) Nuts (S) Shellfish (V) Vegetarian (VE) Vegan ----------------------------- VEGETARIAN MENU ----------------------------- LOCAL HERB INFUSED WATER OUZO PLOMARI COCKTAIL LOCAL RICOTTA Roasted Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Herbes De Provence, (D) Château Kefraya Les Bretèches 2017, Cinsault Rosé, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon SNAP PEA & PERSIAN FETA Crispy Quinoa, Red Radish, Za'atar Mayo, Avocado (D)(G) Tamada Tsinandali 2013, Rkatsiteli – Mtsvane White, Kakheti, Georgia RED BEETROOT RISOTTO Shallot and Oats Crumble, Roasted Local Vegetables, (N)(D) Gai’a S 2016, Agiorgitiko – Syrah Red, Nemea, Greece LOCAL CAMEL CHOCOLATE-MILK BAR Dark Chocolate, Dates, Caramel, Local Camel Milk Ice Cream (D)(N) Kavaklidere Ancyra 2014, Cabernet Sauvignon – Syrah Red, Ankara, Turkey Enjoy a glass of Domaine de Bargylus Rouge Grand Vin 2012 from Syria for a special price of 70AED using the state of the art Coravin system (A) Alcohol (D) Dairy (G) Gluten Free (N) Nuts (S) Shellfish (V) Vegetarian (VE) Vegan

Tasting Challenge: New Zealand Waitangi Day

Radisson Blue

What's this all about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dg0ZHbSbtRI This months theme: New Zealand Test your skills at this social tasting, where you have to use your nose and the clues to figure out what each glass is. Come to try your luck at identifying six mystery bottles and learn about several NZ regions and top grape varieties. Our sommelier will give some helpful hints making this a fun tasting for both novices who just want to find one they enjoy and talented drinkers who want to put their hard-earned skills to the test. About The Monthly Blind Tasting: Blind tasting is when you don't know what you're drinking so you can really taste free from bias. It makes for a fun conversation with your new friends, plus there is an interactive lesson is provided by The Tasting Class. How it Works: We sit at social tables of 10. Six different covered mystery bottles are shared by everyone at the table. We'll teach some tips on tasting like a pro, and give some insight into the evening's theme. Everyone will then have some time to blind taste, and try to guess what they are drinking using the clues provided and their own sense of smell and taste. After everyone tastes everything we will vote for our favourite, then reveal them one by one. The sommelier will give a quick lesson as each bottle is revealed. Taste and discuss with everyone at the table, learn about, vote and enjoy some snacks and socializing. Additional Info: A bar will be open upon arrival to warm you up for the main tasting. Cheese and other snacks are included. Registration: Email: [masked] to register. AED 200 is payable upon arrival (in cash please). Please register in advance though so we can cater for accurate numbers.
