Thanks very much to the team at Intercom for hosting us in September.

The event starts at 1900, so we will gather downstairs in the lobby from about 1845 and then be brought up to the event room.

We have a number of talks from Data Scientists at Intercom, from both the 'Machine Learning' and 'Analytics and Data Science' teams.

The talks will be (order TBC):

Fergal Reid: Building 'Suggested Common Questions' for Answer Bot
Why we built 'Suggested Common Questions', and how we built it (practical clustering algorithms).

Jo Niec: Measuring the success of Automation products
How and why we measure and communicate the success of our Automation products

Kate Gallo & Saša Branković: Improving Data Literacy in Intercom
The challenges of democratizing data and how we solve them.

Wal McConnell: AB Testing when shipping is your heartbeat
Why we use Bayesian AB Testing to measure the impact of product changes

Cathal Horan: Recent trends in Deep Learning for NLP
The last year has seen rapid advances in deep learning models for NLP. What are these trends and what do they mean for the future of NLP?
