Details
I'm working in the fields of Bioinformatics and so far I've mainly been using the programming language R. A while ago I started to convert some of my work to Julia using several different Julia packages.
I am more than happy to share my experience about the following packages and Julia in general:
-
EzXML.jl: Handle XML/HTML documents
-
DataFrames.jl: Tools for working with tabular data in Julia.
-
DataFramesMeta.jl and Lazy.jl: Metaprogramming tools for DataFrames and Associative objects.
-
Neo4j.jl: A Julia client for the Neo4j (http://neo4j.org/) graph database.
-
Weave.jl: Produce reports from Julia-Markdown (.jmd) files or from source code.
-
Parallel Computing: Different approaches for running parallel code.
