Call for Crafters/Collaborators/Inventors of Dublin

Details
Hi all,
I know its been a while since my presentation. To be fair, the turn out was quite poor and it was hard to build momentum on a maker-space from it. That said I would like to thank those that did turn up and discussed different options with me. After many weeks of discussions and deliberations with others, I have concluded that without an active community, very little can progress. With this in mind, and considering the current resources I have at hand, the approach I would like to take is one of starting a project with like minded collaborators/crafters/inventors.
So for this meetup, of which the date is provisional I would like to meet with fellow crafters/collaborators/Inventors to come up with a project we can work on together.
Here is a few examples of projects that would be dear to my heart, but the final project would be decided by ballot.
e.g Human carrying Drone/quadcopter, Machine to clean up plastic from ocean
The first meeting is a meet and greet and to start a list of potential projects, record names and details of skills or resources that could be brought to project, projects. For example, I currently have a workshop with plenty of handyman tools, and I'm currently working on a bamboo bicycle, cohabiting this space is Chris Darling who makes and repairs surfboards. Since coming together we have both found our individual skills have been very helpful to each other and are keen to expand our collaboration with others.
Please RSVP for the event even if the date doesn't suit, as what I really want to establish is how many interests parties we would have to kick off our first project. I will set a confirmed date in the next week or so. In the mean time if anyone has any questions, please contact me.
Rgds,
Derek.
