If you are interested in tai chi or would like to try something new then this is the group for you.
Tai chi can be practiced by everyone regardless of age, ability or fitness level so I invite you to take advantage of a free introductory class, with no commitment.
I offer classes for beginners, improvers and advanced practitioners all over North & South Dublin on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays as well as in Clonmel Co Tipp on Thursdays.

Tai Chi Workshop "SUSPENDED"

Traditional Chen Style Tai Chi. Tai chi can be practiced as a health system or as a martial art. This beautiful and challenging system of movement can be practiced by virtually anyone. Once the basic movements (silk-reeling) have been trained, they can then be strung together into the longer forms. Beginners practice while standing and later on while stepping in all 8 directions, forward, backwards, left, right and diagonally.

Come along and join us at the

WELLINGTON MONUMENT,
@ THE PHOENIX PARK
EVERY SATURDAY AT 12 NOON

We will do a traditional taiji warm-up followed by Silk-Reeling exercises. These are unique to Chen Tai Chi and could be called the building blocks of the style.

We will practice some 3,000 year old Qi Gong (breath work) exercises that will enliven your body and your spirit.

This is the main section and will last for an hour+

After a short break we will practice the Lao Jia Yi Lu (old form first frame).

You will be welcome to follow along even if you don't already know the movements.

Everyone can train at their own level of intensity and due to c19, coaching will be minimal.

Attendees are advised to wear flat shoes or runners but be aware that the grass could be wet on the day, also bring some rain gear just in case.
You may also want to bring some water.

Tai Chi is practiced while upright so there is no need to bring a yoga mat.

So if you want exercise in the fresh air and sunshine and you also wish to stay in control of your personal well-being, please come out and join us.

With over 200 members between my Meetups groups this could easily turn out to be the best way to spend your Saturday afternoons.

I believe that we can respect social-distancing and still enjoy the many benefits of Chen Tai Chi, together.

If there is enough support I will run this event weekly...to infinity!
