What we're about

WELCOME!

Dungeon Adventure Quests is all about delivering the best Paid D&D and other Tabletop RPG Experiences to players of all experience levels. Due to the Covid lockdown all games are run online through a virtual tabletop software (https://foundryvtt.com/) and a private audio/video chat server.

At Dungeon Adventure Quests the Player Characters are the driving force behind the games we play. Whether a published module or a custom made adventure. Our Game Masters know that the players are the center of the story and strive to make each session something they’ll remember. We tell stories of action, adventure, political intrigue, humor, betrayal, heroism, and villainy.

Whether you are new and curious about the game, or an experienced player looking to pick up the dice again we are here to help you tell your story. We offer games for the absolute beginner, helping understand the basics of the game and role playing. As well as for more experienced dungeon adventurers ready to sink their teeth into an epic quest!

What do you need?

In this time of social distancing you’ll need some way to communicate, preferably some type of computer with a webcam and microphone. BUT if you don’t have something like that we can accommodate for use of a smartphone or tablet.

Everything else will be provided for you! Just log online with a mind open to adventure!

Your first time playing with Dungeon Adventure Quests is completely free!

Why is there a charge to play?

Movies, Video Games, Board Games, Plays, Entertainment is not without its cost and while a game of D&D may not have a multi-million dollar budget, it does take Game Masters a lot of time and effort to create the stories that the players enjoy.

We’ve spent years playing and running home games and know that they are the lifeblood of the Tabletop RPG community. But they are not without fault.

• Scheduling conflicts.

• Players who will flake at the last minute.

• GMs who tire out after running game after game after game (forever GM)

• GMs who aren’t able to put in the time preparing for the game.

• Players who don’t seem to care about the game or story

And that’s really just the start. If you have a great home game that has avoided all those problems, first off, congratulations! (What’s your secret?) and second, Dungeon Adventure Quests may not be for you. But if you're looking to get away or avoid that hassle. We’re here for you!

Playing in a Dungeon Adventure Quests game solves those problems.

• Because the players have bought tickets they are more likely to show up and be involved in the game

• The GMs are skilled as players and Game Masters and have been running games for a long time. And when you have enough experience at something, it doesn’t hurt to get paid to do it.

• An average session lasts 3 hours and the GMs spend at least that long (usually more) outside of the game preparing for a great session.

• Virtual Tabletop software, chat server, adventure modules, and rule books (even digital ones) cost money which the GMs gladly spend to run great games!

Prices

Each session cost between $10 and $30 based on the amount of preparation needed, the GM's experience and expected duration. (Some sessions may go over time if the story needs it but will never end earlier than expected.) First time players are always free!

Games will come in several forms:

• One-shot: One session, one adventure

• Short form campaign: A Very short adventure 3-6 sessions

• Regular Campaign: 10-20 game sessions

• Epic Campaign: More than 20 sessions.

Be sure to read the details for each event so you know what to expect. In addition to games we will host other events

• Game Master training and workshops

• Build your Character Class - Free before any campaign

• Anything else we can think of

While we would love to expand and have more Game Masters running Free and paid games, we're not in the position to vet Game Masters just yet. So if you are looking for a casual group to play with here are some public places you might be able to find the party you’re looking for.
