Hear Guest Speakers share their most profound and transformational personal experiences in a safe, non-judgmental environment and talk about ways they have incorporated spirituality into their lives. Every one brings the truth of their own experiences. The research has shown that just by listening to near-death experiencers share their truths with others in a caring group environment, it can change us in beneficial ways. Durham RT IANDS (Int'l Assn for Near-Death Studies) is open to people of all faiths and cultures. We look forward to seeing you online via Zoom!
Durham RT IANDS is now a virtual meetup group that has Guest Speakers or video events typically on 3rd Fridays all year long (with occasional bonus events) that start at 6:30 pm via Zoom (with occasional exceptions).
As a legal affiliate of IANDS, a 501c3 non-profit organization, donations to Durham RT IANDS are tax deductible.

I began my adult life in the military. After combat in Iraq, I transitioned to studying at the University of California - Berkeley. However, severe bouts of PTSD led me to seek deeper healing, and I soon found myself in my first 10-day Vipassana meditation course. That experience was transformative, and I decided to leave my former life behind, dedicating myself to meditation and the teachings of spiritual masters. I spent 7 years living and volunteering at meditation centers and Buddhist monasteries, immersing myself in the practice and community.
In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when I broke my neck and had a near-death experience. It was a profound moment that changed everything. As I recovered, the urge to begin sewing arose naturally and immediately. This new practice became a vital part of my healing process—physically and emotionally. For the past four years, I have been weaving threads into the same tapestry, pouring my heart and spirit into every stitch, as I repeat the mantra- " May this stitch bring peace to many people".
Since my near-death experience, I have noticed a deepening of my intuitive abilities. This awakening of psychic abilities has allowed me to offer guidance and psychic sessions to hundreds of people. It has been a humbling honor to support others on their own paths of healing and discovery.
