Come join us at the second event of our free technical meetup series, "Dynamic Talks", in Seattle! Dynamic Talks is an ongoing meetup series featuring technical talks from some of the leading experts in tech in major cities around the US. Enjoy talks about the most innovative subjects in: AI, ML, voice platforms, the Cloud and search. One of the objectives of Dynamic Talks is to foster and encourage the local technology community to share knowledge. Every event is free, with complimentary food and drinks. First, we will present a methodology that helps to develop highly automated promotion and loyalty management systems. Next, we will walk through practical examples of how advanced customer and content signals can be generated using predictive models, and how optimization and reinforcement learning techniques can be used for targeting, budgeting, and pricing decisions. This talk is for Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Software Engineers involved into marketing operations or development of marketing automation software and interested in ML-based decision automation techniques. About Ilya Katsov: Ilya joined Grid Dynamics in 2009, and since then has been leading engagements with a number of major retail and technology companies, focusing primarily on Big Data, Machine Learning, and Economic Modeling. He is currently managing the Industrial AI consulting practice that helps clients become successful AI adopters and deliver innovative AI solutions. He is the author of several scientific articles and international patents, and also authored a book, “Introduction to Algorithmic Marketing: Artificial Intelligence for Marketing Operations” (2017). About Jay Nanduri: Jay Nanduri is a GM & Distinguished Engineer in Dynamics 365, and part of the Cloud & Enterprise Division at Microsoft. Jay is an engineering and business leader with over twenty-five years’ experience in entrepreneurship, driving strategy and technical vision, product development, business operations, and leading large impactful initiatives. Jay has overseen and delivered mission critical projects from conception to implementation in highly scalable distributed systems, including big data, big graph, secure internet platforms, fraud prevention, BI analytics, e-commerce, personalization, workflow systems and machine learning/AI platforms. Jay is currently leading the cloud learning graph platforms that power many solutions across consumer and commercial scenarios such as Anti-fraud infrastructure for purchase and usage of products, Microsoft’s loyalty program, recommendations, e-commerce experience optimization, and campaign systems that increase engagement and monetization of services like Windows, Xbox, Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and MSN.
