Renske Mehra (Program Manager Homewards) shares how she co-developed Homewards, a three-month welcome program that introduces Dutch and international newcomers to the Eindhoven region. By working with local designers and tailoring experiences to personal interests, Homewards helps people build real, lasting connections.
Terry and Cheryl Boyd (Co-Founders of Dispatches Europe and EuroPassport) bring their entrepreneurial media experience and expat insights to the table. From launching Dispatches Europe, a media platform for highly skilled internationals, to pioneering EuroPassport, an AI-powered tool for navigating life in Europe, they’ll share what it takes to turn confusion into confidence when moving abroad.

Renske Mehra – Program Manager Homewards
Renske Mehra is a creative and socially driven program manager, concept developer, and storyteller. At Eindhoven365 — the official city marketing organization for Eindhoven — she leads Homewards, a three-month welcome program designed for Dutch and international newcomers. In collaboration with Holland Expat Center South and various local designers, Homewards offers participants a chance to explore the region in ways that match their personal interests, while building meaningful connections. Renske combines design thinking, storytelling, and community building to create a warm and accessible introduction to life in Eindhoven. In her talk, she will share how the program came to life and how thoughtful design helps newcomers move from feeling like strangers to feeling at home.Terry & Cheryl Boyd – Co-founders Dispatches Europe & EuroPassport
Terry and Cheryl Boyd are the co-founders of Dispatches Europe, a media platform for highly skilled internationals living and working in Europe. Based in Eindhoven, they also developed EuroPassport, an AI-powered tool that provides reliable, up-to-date information about careers, housing, and life in Europe — offering a smart alternative to confusing expat Facebook groups. Terry Boyd is a lifelong journalist and award-winning photographer, with a background ranging from community news to war reporting. Cheryl Boyd brings a rich career in media, international event sales, and business development. Together, they use storytelling, entrepreneurship, and technology to help expats navigate their European journey. In their talk, they’ll share insights on building trust and community through media in a global context.Eindhoven city is full of hidden Tech & Design gems that fuel transformation.
