Islamic New Year
This year Sunday will mark the Islamic New year (Al Hijri) giving you 3 days to explore 1 of the least visited nations on earth!
Take yourself off the beaten track with a visit to one of the world’s youngest and least-visited countries: Eritrea only came into being as an independent country in 1993, and it’s still not made it on to the radar of most travelers. There will be no jostling with other tourists in this country – it’s likely that you’ll be among only a handful of visitors taking in the glorious Red Sea views, the ancient monuments, and the colorful Italian-inspired architecture. What’s more, Eritrea is a very compact country by African standards, so travel times are minimal – perfect for a long weekend!
