What we're about

Did you know that 50% of employers offer better starting packages for applicants with better English skills, leading to 46% of higher salary increases? --Cambridge English

Even though 77% of the US population has a fear of public speaking, a study done by Ethos 3 showed that those with a fear of public speaking actually earn 10% less than those who don't have that fear.

Not only will learning to improve public speaking help you make more money, it will also make you more attractive as a partner, friend, and your overall sense of well-being.

You can spend thousands on a language school and still not make progress because everyone else around you is just as bad at English as you are, or do nothing year after year and get the same results, OR you can join a welcoming English as a Second Language Toastmaster's group where you will have the opportunity to do the following:

+Give 2-3 minute short form speeches

+Receive feedback on grammar, pronunciation, sentence structure, and presentation skills

+Give 5-10 minute professional speeches that you can re-use for work

+Get a certificate of completion so you can impress your boss or partner

+Network with other like minded native and non-Native English speakers twice monthly

+Forever improve your English skills and have a safe space to practice and overcome your greatest fears

+Say goodbye to embarrassment and say hello to impressed with your new speaking skills!

WHO SHOULD COME:

Anyone who is interested in improving their speaking, with an emphasis for English as a Second Language learners.

We have people from all levels, beginners to advanced, people with accents and people who are native level fluent, you are welcome to join!
