Membership Dues for 2012

Hi, guys

I hope your New Year is off to a great start.

As you know, we have the $5.00 membership fee which is for the entire year (to cover the costs to run the site and other things related to meetup). This fee is for renewing and new members (you renew each year).

Members told me that they don't mind if I just collect it from everyone for this year, at the first meetup of this year that they attend. I'll do this UNLESS someone literally JUST joined in the end of the year, such as November or December and JUST PAID me very recently as I want to be fair. For THOSE people, they can wait till the end of the year to renew the membership. For all others, I'll collect at the start of the year, to make it easier (unless people really object and wish to wait till the exact month they joined comes up. Mostly, people have said that they want to make it easier for me. ) Once you pay, you are good for the whole year!

ALSO, from a member's suggestion, I am considering collecting through paypal. If I do this, then those who pay through paypal would just pay a little bit over 5 bux, to cover the costs that paypal charges (it would probably be only 35 cents or so more, I'd have to check!)...The paypal would ONLY be for people who aren't able to pay the 5- bux membership at the meetups...I'll see if I set this up...Not sure yet...

Anyway, I look forward to seeing all of you!!
