What we’re about
The East Bay Mystery Readers’ Group (EBMRG) is a fun, casual group formed in January 1994 and is looking for new members. However, we want members who will commit to attending the meetings. The group meets via ZOOM from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Each month we discuss the three (3) books which had been chosen previously. Some people will have read all three, some only one, and some haven't had a chance to read any of the books, but we still like people to come. It is helpful if members send me their review notes prior to the Tuesday meeting.
RSVPs for each event are opened the Wednesday prior to the meeting. This is to prevent folks from RSVP-ing yes for events months in advance and then forgetting, which would take valuable spaces away from others who would like to attend.
Meetup groups cost money to run. There is an annual membership fee of $20 which covers January through December. A half-year rate of $10, and a quarter-year rate of $5 is also available. Dues can be mailed to me and are payable via cash or check.
If you like mysteries, we're the group.
