This is a small bluegrass festival that a guy holds on a piece of his land. Nice and mellow, uncrowded, with lots of room.
There is camping in an open feild, hot showers, and they sell breakfast and burgers, etc. throughout the day; and a few booths with local crafts and jewlery. There is small stage that people play mostly accoustic music on all day and into the night.
Me and Dottie went last year and had a great time. We played horseshoes and frisbee, and spent a day at a nearby small river floating in tubes. There are also shell fossils in the rocks along the river. Of course we stayed up late by the fire listening to what ever music people brought each night.
Great for families, and cheap. Only $48 for camping and music.
If you have never seen bluegrass played this is a good time to do it.
By your tickets (and get additional info) via the link below and just show up. No reserved spots, no need for it. Me and Dottie will be there.
