East County Tabletop Roleplaying and Board Games Group

We play a wide variety of board games, from Splendor to Brass Birmingham. We usually have at least 3-4 tables worth of games going on each Sunday.

You can come with a suggestion of what you would like to play or pull a game off the shelf and see who wants to play or if you have no idea, see what others have or want to play, it's all good.

This event is at Off The Shelf Games in Parkway Plaza East next to the Home Goods store, and there is a $8.00 entrance fee for non-members to the store.

Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game is a PbtA system that brings you and your friends into the beloved setting of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra - as new heroes of your own stories! Weave tales of self-discovery and action with your team of friends and go penguin-sledding while you're at it!

SUMMARY:
The night before the coronation ceremony of Fire Lord Ozai, Fire Sage Bai arrested several intruders trying to steal a historical scroll from the Dragonbone Catacombs in Royal Caldera City (also known as Hari Bulkan). These brave heroes hoped to save a bit of the undoctored Fire Nation history from Ozai’s wrath, but they now face a lifetime of incarceration! Luckily, an elderly Fire Sage, Niuan, has freed the heroes and given them the scroll they sought, promising to help them if they agree to smuggle him out of the city during their escape. But can Fire Sage Niuan be trusted? How will our heroes escape from the city? And what will Fire Sage Bai do when he realizes they have escaped with the scroll...and Niuan?

WHAT TO BRING:
Pre-generated characters will be available and since PbtA is a 2d6 system, then you can bring your own dice or use mine. All that will be required of the players is you, your Avatar: The Last Airbender passion, and your imagination!

The Tabletop Adventuring Club "TAC", is a group of Dungeon Masters running a MMTTPRG at Off The Shelf Games. The store has an $8 entrance fee for anyone that is not a member.

This is a Dungeons and Dragons 5E event.

**Season 4 starts Wednesday June 7th and ends Friday September 8th**

The Arena awaits the souls of those destined for combat. The Master of Conflict forged a realm from the primordial essence of the Astral Plane, and created a demiplane known to adventurers and luminaries from around the multiverse as The Arena. Herein, those selected participate in deadly combat. Winners gain fame and fortune, while the fallen are forgotten.

The Arena is a game focused on player vs monsters combat, great for learning the raw mechanics of the game, & trying out new builds. Players can bring 1 to 4 characters for arena-play, or a pre-generated character can be provided by the store. Use the point-buy system, average HP rounded up for levels 2-20. As a house-rule, all arena characters start with a feat. Variant humans & custom lineage are not playable races in the arena. The Arena is drop in/drop out. Your characters will retain all prestige and loot earned from game to game.

All official wizards of the coast 5e books are fair game, & you can use any number of books for your builds. All arena characters start at 1st level.

The phases of play are as follows:

1. Players and DM prepare. Ask questions, precast spells, purchase items, etc.
2. Players will be teleported into the arena and their objective is to survive, find the treasure, and defeat all enemies. If the loot is not secured by the time the enemy is defeated, loot will be forfeit.
3. Roll initiative
4. Try and Survive...

Gameplay starts at 5:30, but tables may start forming at 5pm as players and DMs arrive. If the tables are full and you would like to play, please let the DMs know. We will do our best to get you on the next match as we do multiple sessions each Arena day (Wednesday / Friday).

**Characters that competed in the arena prior to the current season will not be eligible to join, players will need to create new characters each season.
