What we're about

Trial Classical Art classes and workshops using Old techniques in Classical Clay Sculpting (

The Renaissance Atelier is devoted to the ideas and practice of the classical realism and a revisit to past techniques. Much in the current art world is superficial with little regard for the redevelopment of basic skills of draughtsmanship or accurate observation. The Atelier system is based on students of varying abilities all working together with their teachers and being assigned a systematic progression of projects chosen to develop particular skills, each of which should be fully mastered before the next project is attempted. This was the traditional method of training artists , with students learning from each other under the guidance of the Master teacher.
