What we're about

This is not your ordinary book club! Let's get together and help one another on our personal growth growth journeys! I have personally been on a growth journey for the past couple of years and now I am at a point where I want to help others along their journey.

There are so many amazing personal growth books on the market that we can take advantage of. The goal of this book club is to read 1 PG growth book a month, meet up and discuss. I want to keep this light and fun but hope everyone gets a good nugget or 2. We can chat about the book and how this has applied already or how we plan to implement into our lives to help us grow.

I am open to ideas about what books you have read or want to read when deciding on the next's month book.

Please join me on this amazing adventure called life! Let's not come this far to just come this far (Rachel Hollis)-let's make a move and become the best version of ourselves!

February Book Club-Girl, Wash Your Face

Caribou Coffee

To start out the year, I have selected "Girl, Wash your face" for our first book. Rachel Hollis is on the rise and is so inspirational! Her book is straight to the point and has some great ideas of how to progress on our journeys. From Amazon: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Do you ever suspect that everyone else has life figured out and you don’t have a clue? If so, Rachel Hollis has something to tell you: that’s a lie. As the founder of the lifestyle website TheChicSite.com and CEO of her own media company, Rachel Hollis developed an immense online community by sharing tips for better living while fearlessly revealing the messiness of her own life. Now, in this challenging and inspiring new book, Rachel exposes the twenty lies and misconceptions that too often hold us back from living joyfully and productively, lies we’ve told ourselves so often we don’t even hear them anymore. With painful honesty and fearless humor, Rachel unpacks and examines the falsehoods that once left her feeling overwhelmed and unworthy, and reveals the specific practical strategies that helped her move past them. In the process, she encourages, entertains, and even kicks a little butt, all to convince you to do whatever it takes to get real and become the joyous, confident woman you were meant to be. With unflinching faith and rock-hard tenacity, Girl, Wash Your Face shows you how to live with passion and hustle--and how to give yourself grace without giving up. Bring your copy of the book, if you have one. I will have a few discussion points but really want this to be a time where everyone can share their ideas. We will meet at Caribou Coffee in Woodbury.
