A Magical Evening with BRAD COLERICK!!
We are excited to welcome Brad Colerick, an Americana/Folk singer-songwriter from California performing for our East Valley House Concert Meetup series at Lynn’s magical backyard! Bill Davies will open the show playing a musical instrument called the handpan. Dinner at 6 & concert starts at 7 pm. It will be fantastic show you won't want to miss & check out Brad’s impressive bio below! Brad’s Bio: Billboard Magazine called Brad Colerick "one of a baker's dozen of acts to watch in the folk community around the world." He moved from his native Nebraska to Los Angeles in 1986 and built a successful career making music for commercials where he wrote and produced ditties recorded by such musical icons as BB King, Shawn Colvin, Buddy Guy, Amy Grant, The Chi-Lites, and Johnny Cash. Colerick's 4th CD, Tucson, was released October 21, 2014. Full of guitars, banjo, pedal steel, and fiddle, this record lands firmly into the Americana wheelhouse. The natural imagery and resilient characters of songs like “Late Winter Snow,” “The Hands of Time,” and the bluegrassy “Brakeman’s Door” hark back to his Nebraska roots. Here’s a link to the title cut: A finalist at Kerville, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Falcon Ridge, and Sisters Folk Festival songwriter competitions, Colerick’s music blends Americana, Folk, and Country and seeps into your heart with a single listen. His finely wrought, plainspoken lyrics find the poetry in everyday language. Some YouTube video links of Brad: Here's more info on his press release of his newest CD just out: We will also be providing a light BBQ dinner, variety of salads, desserts & sodas, water, tea. If you would like to bring some wine or food to share you're certainly welcome. Come join us for a great night of entertainment and camaraderie! Cost for the event is $20 per person (all of which goes directly to the artist) & Brad will also have merchandise to sell & to raffle off if interested. $1 for one ticket, $5 for six tickets. Hope you are the lucky winner!! This will be an outdoor event. Once it gets dark it may get cool so please dress appropriately for weather. We will have heat lamps & a fire pit going if needed. Hope to see you all!
