A community choir, nothing pompous, no divas. £6 a week. A welcoming bunch who believe performing is fun and fun outweighs everything. The group puts on concerts which have been well received about 2 to 3 times a year. You don't need to read music or do anything pretentious - just turn up and sing your heart out. The songs the choir sings are a mix of all styles and members of the choir get to chose the songs they would like to sing too. Many of our group are already members, so lots of friendly people around. There is a Friday morning choir too, which I have put out. The same choir, just at different times.
Yoga with a difference- no need for yoga leggings and mats. Lovely way to practise if you are short of time or are recovering after illness or injury. Ideal for everyone who struggles with mobility, is nervous about joining a gym and would like to meet friendly people whilst getting stronger and healthier in body and mind.
• What we'll do Weekly Guided Meditation for Detachment from Over-Thinking Meditation is an ancient technique which aligns the body and mind in the present moment. In meditation we allow our inner sense of Presence to rise by simply BE-ing Aware. Meditation supported with a guided enquiry and observation helps you find relief from excessive thinking patterns common to stress, anxiety, and depression. Each Meeting starts with 20 to 30 minutes of Guided Meditation, followed by a short tea break (free) and an audio or video recording of a Non Duality Talk/ Meditation by various Teachers ( Ananta Kranti, Mooji, Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Jeff Foster, Gangaji etc). Each Meeting ends with a 10 to 20 minute silent meditation. Guided Meditations are held on Tuesday Evenings at 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm in Eastbourne. Her close association and friendship with Mooji and Ananta Kranti, and many of the better known Spiritual Teachers, has helped the never ending deepening, integration and embodiment of awakening.
