What we're about

The focus of this group will be to get together and play various games. Some of our Meetups will be focused on a specific game or group of games, while others will be about a variety of games. Members are encouraged to suggest games and host game parties. It is preferred that only adults attend our Meetups.

Get together and play (virtual) games

Online event

***Due to Covid-19 we're playing online!*** I'm keeping this set up for Sundays, but if weeknights are better let me know. I'm back to work and my schedule is inconsistent at best. I have no problem changing the date and time to accommodate others. Join us online to play games and socialize. We'll probably use boardgamearena.com so go there and register--it's free. I've used this site with another group and it's easy to use and has a lot of games. After you register you can do some training games to get familiar with them. I recommend: Can't Stop, 6Nimmt!, and Oh Hell! I've also played Hanabi, Colt Express, 7 Wonders, and Werewolf. Also, because I have an issue with my headset on my PC, we can use Google Hangouts to talk to each other. That also works better if we decide to switch to a different site or play a game like Bring Your Own Book that can be done just on Google Hangouts. Once you RSVP, you'll be able to see the link to the video call. Grab a snack and a beverage and join us! (I have a bottle of Chard to share virtually.) If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. https://boardgamearena.com/welcome https://skribbl.io/ (Pictionary) --Cynthia PS: If you are interested in playing Fiasco, let me know. We can set up a different meetup for that. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. ***I highly suggest that you visit the site(s) and register and try out a few games to get a feel for how it works ahead of time. If you see some favorite games, try them out to see how the mechanics differ. If anyone has a premium account on the site let me know. I may have to get one to facilitate playing. ***We could still use a few more people interested in playing Witch: The Road to Lindisfarne. There's a discussion thread for it, or just contact me. We'll be trying to set up a time soon. This would be played solely on Hangouts, since no board or dice are involved. --Cynthia ***We could still use a few more people interested in playing Witch: The Road to Lindisfarne.
