What we're about

The focus of this group will be to get together and play various games. Some of our Meetups will be focused on a specific game or group of games, while others will be about a variety of games. Members are encouraged to suggest games and host game parties. It is preferred that only adults attend our Meetups.

Get together and play (virtual) games

Online event

Due to Covid-19 we're playing online!

I'm keeping this set up for Sundays, but if weeknights are better let me know. I'm back to work and my schedule is inconsistent at best. I have no problem changing the date and time to accommodate others.

Join us online to play games and socialize. We'll probably use boardgamearena.com so go there and register--it's free. I've used this site with another group and it's easy to use and has a lot of games. After you register you can do some training games to get familiar with them. I recommend: Can't Stop, 6Nimmt!, and Oh Hell!

I've also played Hanabi, Colt Express, 7 Wonders, and Werewolf.

Also, because I have an issue with my headset on my PC, we can use Google Hangouts to talk to each other. That also works better if we decide to switch to a different site or play a game like Bring Your Own Book that can be done just on Google Hangouts. Once you RSVP, you'll be able to see the link to the video call.

Grab a snack and a beverage and join us! (I have a bottle of Chard to share virtually.)

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

PS: If you are interested in playing Fiasco, let me know. We can set up a different meetup for that.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
***I highly suggest that you visit the site(s) and register and try out a few games to get a feel for how it works ahead of time. If you see some favorite games, try them out to see how the mechanics differ. If anyone has a premium account on the site let me know. I may have to get one to facilitate playing.

***We could still use a few more people interested in playing Witch: The Road to Lindisfarne. There's a discussion thread for it, or just contact me. We'll be trying to set up a time soon. This would be played solely on Hangouts, since no board or dice are involved.
