First Kayaking trip of the 2019 season

While it is still way to soon to be posting an exact location and details of the first kayaking event of the season, I did want to "save the date".

Kayaking is weather related and will depend on water levels on various creeks and rivers in the area as well as potential thunderstorms. As the time for this event approaches, details will be fine-tuned and a location selected. By signing up, you are saying you are making yourself available for that date. Most of the places I kayak do not have rentals available so you will need to own your own kayak, paddle, and PFD. My trips are an all-day event of several hours and will require your help in the shuttle for 1-way events. 1-way trips usually involve paddling through some class I-II rapids (but are generally easier than up-and-back trips which involve paddling against the current the first half of the trip).
