Design and UX are meaningless without real results to back them up. Dale Sande will be leading a discussion on what it means to have a UX team that knows their medium. It's not about the hottest framework or the latest technology trend, it's about understanding the intersection of UX and technology.
What are the skills that the modern designer should know? Is Photoshop really the end all - be all? What does it mean to design in the browser? How is that supported and what are the risks? Dale doesn't have all the answers, but he has great insight having worked with both start-ups and enterprise clients throughout his career.
Speaker: Dale Sande, UI Architect
About Dale: Dale splits his time between San Francisco where he is a UI Architect for AppDirect and Seattle where he is a Lead Instructor for Code Fellows' UX App Development Accelerator.
When he is not up all night coding, Dale is very involved in the Sass community, locally and nationally. He is also a core contributor to SassMeister, co-authoring the book 'Sass in the Real World' and writes for various blogs.
In those rare moments when Dale can actually put the computer down, he enjoys spending time with this wife and two daughters riding bikes and enjoying the outdoors.
