WELCOME TRAIL RUNNING, HIKING, AND WALKING FRIENDS
We’re a small, P2P, casual neighborhood group created for friends and family. We do fun and easy runs and brisk walks on dirt trails, grass, snow, and rocks -- and scenic places such as the High Line. We also meet for all-levels cross-training activities like biking, meditation or yoga (incl. virtual**). Join us to explore the natural beauty and healthy foods of NY. We typically go out for post-exercise coffee, snacks or brunch (optional). Guests of all running abilities,** including run-walkers, are always welcome to join for the running/walking/eating!
Group limit: 50 members

Where
Cross-training: Core, yoga, HIIT -- Virtual

Trail walks/runs/hikes
• Central Park trails, weekday mornings at 7 AM.
• Central Park, with the Blockhouse trail run meet, on Saturdays at 9 AM.
• **High Line **on Tuesdays 7 AM and Sundays (most) at 7:30 AM on the urban trail, followed by coffee/eating out at the Chelsea Market!
• Manhattan is the base, but occasionally we venture out onto other trails (e.g., Prospect Park in Brooklyn, South Mountain Reservation in Essex County, Sleepy Hollow), and post other events of the New York area.

Who \

We are a small, volunteer-lead, private group, started by a run-walker-hiker and friends. We invite friends and family who share that same passion for the trails and food to run/exercise with us on a monthly/regular basis. All paces, including experienced hikers, trail runners and runners training for their first trail events, are welcome. Please be comfortable running or brisk run-walking at least six miles on trail.
We invite new members and visitors to drop-in and attend meets for a two-week trial. More info.
