Paleo Gourmet Dinner Tickets!

Eating out while paleo can be difficult. Yes, you can ask the restaurant to hold the bun and scan the menu for the words "wild" and "grass-fed", but you don't have much control over what happens in the kitchen. Unfortunately, most restaurants use copious amounts of vegetable oils loaded with rancid polyunsaturated and trans fats that are inappropriate for human consumption.

But while I love to cook at home, sometimes it's nice to kick back and enjoy a restaurant meal. That's why I was delighted to find Get Fresh Table & Market in Park Slope. They have many great paleo options on their regular menu including wild seafood and grass-fed meat. Even better, they use pastured lard to cook with! I approached them with the idea to do a completely paleo menu featuring their best paleo options. What's on the menu will depend on what's at the market that morning, but everything I've had at this restaurant is wonderful (and I've been there enough that I'm now the Foursquare mayor hehe).
