Where and When are the ECK Worship Services?
The ECK Worship Services are held on the second Sundays of every month at 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. in the Monterey ECKANKAR Center, 77 Soledad Drive, Monterey, CA 93940. The word "ECK" means the Holy Spirit. The topics of the worship services change every month. This month's topic is listed above.

What Can I Expect to Find at an ECK Worship Service?

Each service focuses on an aspect of the teaching of Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God (http://www.eckankar.org/light.html). It also features a reading from the Eckankar books, singing HU, a Love Song to God (http://www.eckankar.org/hu.html), a talk by a featured guest or panel, a featured video, music, and sometimes followed by an open group discussion of spiritual principles at work in daily life. The service lasts about an hour followed by refreshments and fellowship. The worship service is a friendly environment respectful and supportive of families and people of all faiths, religions and philosophical beliefs.

Who Will Attend?
People who attend the ECK Worship Services care about spirituality and divine love. Many of them have had spiritual experiences. A member of the Eckankar clergy will be leading the worship service. There may or may not be time for open discussion during the service. After the service you can share your experiences during the fellowship time, or choose to just listen and learn from those who share. Families are welcome and everyone is invited to bring a friend or loved one. All religious faiths and philosophies are honored and respected. We offer quiet activities for children who would like them.
