As many may or may not know, when I first moved to this area two years ago, I started a Meetup Group. I thoroughly enjoyed the events and meeting new people. However, at the time, family and other obligations came between social events. I am now ready to start a Meetup Group exclusively for weekend events. There are library events, plays, going out for happy hour, brunches, lunches and dinners. There are also movies, bowling, outside events or festivals, etc. Of course, I will be open to any suggestions from prospective members. Thanks, looking forward to this undertaking and meeting you all. Since there is a monthly fee for a Meetup group, I will charge each person who attends an event either a $1.00 or $2.00 fee. I am not out to make a profit, only to have a nice time with good people. I am not limiting the amount of members who can join and request joiners to post a recent photo of themselves, if possible. I realize not everyone is tech savvy!
See the trains, etc. of yesteryear. There are guided tours, train rides, exhibits, gift shop and library. Train Rides: Ride in Cab, $10., Coach, $3., Caboose, $3.
These prices are in addition to Museum Admission ($7.00). The Rail Yard Local takes you for a 20 minute tour of the Danbury Rail Yard.
So many things to see for all ages and a hands-on experience.
I will be at the ticket booth 30 minutes earlier and will look for attendees. I look just like my photo on this website.
