What we're about

EcoCity Toastmasters is a great way to start your day! If you want to improve your communication skills, practice your language skills or just want the confidence to make sure your voice is heard, Toastmasters is for you - and EcoCity has the skills and experience to help. Originally for Council staff, the club is now open to all. We meet every other Wednesday morning, from 7.15am to 8.30, in the Sturges West Community House, 58, Summerland Drive (from Henderson, turn into Sturges Rd and turn right at the Palomino Rd roundabout).
For a meeting calendar, go to our website or to learn more, please email us at ecocity@d112tm.org.nz.
Ecocity Toastmasters - "The Club That Can". Why not come and see what that could mean for you?

Practice our speaking skills and have fun

Needs a location

Toastmasters provides a safe, non-judgmental way to improve your confidence around public speaking, both prepared and impromptu. The key to this is immediate and encouraging feedback, which aims to highlight the skills you have as well as providing tips for areas in which you could improve.
Its also described as a "learning by doing workshop" - the more you do, the more you learn.
However, the best way to explain this more fully is to visit us - and that is free and without any obligation. If you like what you see, just ask to join.
