Getting to know and understand your audiences
Jono Ellis (https://uk.linkedin.com/in/jonathanianellis), Search and Social Media Manager at The Scottish Government
Jono will talk about how to get to know your audience through social research, Google Analytics and Google Search Console, then move on to thematic keyword research and using content formats to help with the writing process. He will be sharing experience from his mygov.scot content writing and keyword research point of view and he will make sure that there's a handout/email out with links for people to follow up with.

Do you have to write and edit your own web copy? Mia will share with you ways to edit content in a way that is useful. She will go beyond 'their vs there' to take a closer look at the value of paring down big chunks of information and talk about how to keep your audience in mind when editing.
You do not have to bring your own content but if you want advice, bring something along for Mia to have a look at.
