Accelerating Your Ed-Tech Startup

Details

Is an accelerator program the right fit for my new venture?
Will it speed the process of gaining customer traction?
Will it help my young company attract investment capital?
Are competitions and accelerators worth the time and energy invested?

Startup accelerators and competitions can provide critical support to early-stage companies in the form of business mentorship and financing. The process can be intense, compressing several years' worth of learning-by-doing into just a few months, and thereby accelerating a young company early in its life cycle.

Our eminent panel will:

  1. 'Reverse Pitch' their programs, including examples of ideal candidates, and specific applicant info & deadlines;
  2. Conduct three rotating small-group breakout sessions where attendees can meet the managers, and get answers to questions specific to their start-up.

Bring your questions, and your appetite!

Panel:
Jessica Berg (Executive Director, MNCup)
Kate Evinger (Program Manager, gener8tor)
Andrew Morrow (UMN Office of Technology Commercialization, Discovery Launchpad)
Casey Schultz (Executive Director, Beta.MN)
Danielle Steer (Managing Director, Lunar Startups)

Moderator:
Adam Gordon (President, Andamio Games)

Schedule:
